The Academic Affairs is responsible of the following tasks and functions:
1- Follow up the implementation of the recommendations and decisions of the Council of Professors and any committees related to it.
2- Supervising the work of the promotion committee
3- Adjust the academic regulations, dissemination and follow-up implementation
4- Supervision of the student's admission and registration with co-ordination of the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research .
5-Supervising the training courses for faculty members and post-doctoral training
6- Preparation and publication of an annual University Guide .
7- Saving exams documents and issuing documented university certificates.
8- Supervising the preparation and implementation of the distribution and Honorary Degrees cermony in cooperation with the University complexes.
9- Supervision of teaching assistants appointments .
10- Supervision the rehabilitation and trainig of teaching assistants and lecturers .
11- Monitoring of the teaching load different departments and select it.
12- Supervision of the university electronic publishing with coordination with the Information Technology and Network Adminitration.
13- Supervision of the examinations and identify it's requirements at the university level.
